Recipe for Green Tea and Spirulina Facial Mask
Both green tea and spirulina are said to retard the ageing process; so, apply this on your face frequently and savour your daily cup of green tea concurrently. If green tea is unavailable, peppermint or chamomile tea may be utilised.
Produces one facial mask
Components:
1 green tea bag
Two teaspoons of spirulina powder
Procedure:
Prepare a cup of green tea and let it steep for 4 to 5 minutes. Consume all of the cooled tea save for 6–8 drops.
Combine the spirulina powder with tea to create a paste.
Apply to your face and allow to remain for 20 minutes.
Rinse with warm water and a washcloth.
Recipe for Blueberry and Honey Face Mask
Blueberries are rich in antioxidants, honey possesses antimicrobial properties, and consumption is not necessary to reap the advantages. This exceptionally straightforward mask penetrates directly into your skin. Consider procuring local honey for additional health advantages, like alleviating hay fever. Preferably, fresh blueberries are desired; however, frozen and thawed fruit can also be utilised.
Produces 1–2 applications
Components:
100 grammes of fresh blueberries
Two tablespoons of unprocessed honey
2 teaspoons of raw or coconut sugar
Procedure:
Combine all ingredients in a small food processor and blend until homogeneous.
Apply a substantial coating to your cleansed face and let it to absorb into your skin for 15 minutes.
Thoroughly cleanse with warm water. I recommend preparing this and utilising it immediately or within a few days. Refrigerate if not used immediately and apply once or twice weekly.
This may serve as a pretext to recline for 15 minutes, as it has the potential to run down your face.
This mask is both consumable and delectable. While reclining during the mask's application, simply keep your mouth ajar; any incidental items that enter are a supplementary benefit.
