After a three-year hiatus, the K-pop phenomenon returns with a tightly curated five-song mini album.
BLACKPINK is officially staging a significant comeback with the launch of their third mini album, DEADLINE. After a prolonged three-year absence from collaborative endeavours, the eagerly awaited album reunites the iconic quartet to present their characteristic high-energy style.
The project integrates components of EDM, pop, and hip-hop throughout the five tracks. The focal tune "GO" propels the dynamic delivery, serving as a potent hymn characterised by a vigorous sound composition and an incessant chant-driven hook. The track is artistically enhanced with a theatrical music video teaser depicting the group traversing tumultuous seas, lava-laden terrains, and deep space. The little album also included the hardstyle EDM pre-release tune "JUMP."
The project commences around one month following the conclusion of the DEADLINE World Tour by JENNIE, Jisoo, LISA, and Rosé at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong. This was their inaugural all-stadium tour and their first headlining tour since BORN PINK.
