Pop icon and queen of future nostalgia Dua Lipa re-engages with PUMA, revealing the second release of her unisex collaboration, “Flutur.” Dua Lipa reflects nostalgically on retro designs and historical moments in culture and PUMA’s legacy, drawing inspiration from the ’90s rave scene. This collection features vibrant hues of pink, purple, and orange, along with holographic elements, enhancing the retro aesthetics of this collaboration.

The collection is inspired by vintage rave flyers and has Dua Lipa’s butterfly emblem, which commonly appears alongside the PUMA “Fast Cat” badge to denote the collaboration. Dua Lipa elaborated, “The butterfly represents transition, metamorphosis, and new beginnings. I felt like in the beginning, when I first started working on drop one, the butterfly already had a lot of meaning for me. Now, going into the second drop, that meaning has just solidified itself and become even more important in my life. It feels like everything progressed and manifested itself in that way.”

Dua Lipa and PUMA unveil a collection comprising over 30 pieces, featuring a flared T7 tracksuit and the newly designed CELL Dome King, both specifically created by Dua Lipa for "Flutur." Dua Lipa collaborates with Billy Walsh to showcase three variations of the Mayze sneaker: the Mayze, Mayze Boot and Mayze Metallic. The CELL Dome King is clearly influenced by rave culture, featuring elements reminiscent of football boots, hence ensuring requisite comfort for a rave environment. Football shoes significantly influenced rave attire, reflecting the fashion preferences of the 1990s and serving as practical activewear for the heat and perspiration experienced in nightclubs.

The trio of Mayze sneakers features a typical PUMA look, accentuated by a stacked sole unit that references 1990s styling. The apparel, similarly unisex as the sneakers, merges athletic elements with nostalgic PUMA accents, featuring comfortable tracksuits infused with vibrant hues and cropped sports jerseys.
