Fear of God has established a multi-year relationship with Major League Baseball (MLB), merging sport with high fashion. This new initiative, representing a pivotal moment for both businesses, will infuse the enduring essence of the game into fan gear, reinterpreted through the distinctive silhouettes and contemporary details of Fear of God Essentials.

The inaugural edition of the collection includes garments for renowned clubs, such as the Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees, Chicago Cubs, and others. In commemoration of the inauguration, the initial campaign, developed in collaboration with filmmaker Calmatic, encapsulates the genuine stylistic subtleties of a multi-generational tradition as viewed through the perspective of Picture Day.

Jerry Lorenzo, founder of Fear of God, asserts that the collaboration is a seamless alignment, stating, “Baseball has consistently been the singular constant in America.” Lorenzo elucidates that it mirrors the current era, the nation's status, cultural values, and societal cohesion. “It serves as a reflection and an indicator of American existence, encapsulating both heritage and progress.”

Filmmaker Calmatic stated, “Picture Day was consistently a significant occasion at the ballpark… it represented family, community, and pride.” Individuals presented an elevated portrayal of their selves while continuing to uphold their social personas.

The collection debuted on FOG and Fanatics on September 10, with availability extending to select retailers and stadium stores in the subsequent weeks.
