Jonathan Anderson's LOEWE has fallen to second position, as Bottega Veneta, Saint Laurent, and Moncler ascend the rankings.

The global fashion industry is disorganized. The frequent turnover of Creative Directors each season results in ongoing uncertainty. Miuccia Prada's Miu Miu has maintained its position, securing the title of Lyst Index's World's Hottest Brand for Q3 2023.
Miu Miu was designated Brand of the Year for 2022, experiencing a 49% surge in online searches. Jonathan Anderson's LOEWE was designated the World's Hottest Brand last quarter, while Miu Miu experienced a 16% increase in Q3. The brand's whimsical approach to women's fashion has garnered global recognition, becoming synonymous with "it" girls everywhere. Miu Miu has engaged in collaborations while leading the Gen-Z market, initiating footwear agreements with Church’s and New Balance during the year. Miuccia Prada's namesake brand has concluded Paris Fashion Week, unveiling a preppy Spring/Summer 2024 collection. The illustrious event included Gigi Hadid, Troye Sivan, and Cailee Spaeny concluding the runway in scholarly attire, reinforcing Miu Miu’s young aesthetic with ruffled micro skirts, logo-emblazoned boxer briefs, and adorned flip flops.
The prevailing strategy has elevated LOEWE to second position, with Raf Simons and Miuccia Prada’s Italian House securing third. Q3 includes Ferragamo in the Lyst Index, ranking it at 20th position. It is not unexpected. Since his hiring in 2022, British designer Maximilian Davis has refined Ferragamo, enhancing the luxury brand throughout the past three seasons.
Versace fell to fifth place in Q3 2023, as enthusiasm waned following its collaboration with Dua Lipa earlier this year. Matthieu Blazy's Bottega Veneta rises one position, while Saint Laurent and Moncler advance to sixth and seventh, respectively, due to celebrity campaigns and collaborations with Pharrell Williams, adidas, Billionaire Boys Club, among others. Valentino occupies ninth place, surpassing Jacquemus, who ascended six positions in Q3. Burberry ranks among the top 10 brands, having risen by four positions from Q2 2023.
We anticipated that Louis Vuitton would achieve significant success, given the widespread acclaim for Pharrell Williams' hiring as Creative Director in June. This resulted in disappointment, as he only ascended two positions following his remarkable debut in Q2. Currently, Louis Vuitton ranks fifteenth, below Dolce & Gabbana, Balenciaga, Dior, Gucci, and Glenn Martens' Diesel. Kim Kardashian's shapewear business Skims ranks at 17, with Fendi, JW Anderson, and Ferragamo rounding out the top 20.
This season's most sought-after products comprise an exciting assortment of footwear and accessories, with brands such as New Balance, Tory Burch, and Acne Studios. The Maison Margiela Tabi Mary Jane ranks first, experiencing a 342% increase in popularity following the emergence of “The Tabi Swiper” in New York City. The TikTok-renowned thief instilled fear in New York City last month, pilfering numerous pairs of shoes following casual Tinder encounters. Miu Miu's cashmere cardigan ranks second, closely followed by COS's quilted bag, which has gained significant traction on social media due to its ample storage capacity.
Martine Rose's second collaboration with Nike is included in the fourth edition, launched before to the women's World Cup. Lyst Index reports a 70% increase in searches for the latest versions of the already popular Shox MR4 Mule shoe, making the hybrid sneaker-mule the fourth most sought-after product this quarter. The Birkenstock Arizona, Tory Burch pierced mules, and LOEWE Puzzle tote are positioned below, while the New Balance 550 maintains their popularity. Taylor Swift revitalized the low-top sneaker trend, resulting in a 44% increase in searches following her appearance at the Kansas City Chiefs football game.
