Seiko has introduced a sophisticated new model to its Presage Classic Series, showcasing a tonneau-shaped dress watch with a handcrafted enamel face. This barrel-shaped model, reference SPB537, is the sole representative in the current Presage lineup and boasts a flawless white enamel dial crafted by master artisans Mitsuru Yokosawa and Kazunori Uchiyama. The dial's lustrous sheen is complemented with Roman numerals and a 24-hour subdial positioned at six o'clock, both influenced by Seiko's inaugural pocket watch, the 1895 Timekeeper.
