Jameson has recently unveiled its newest offering: the Jameson Remixed Caribbean Beats, a 21-year-old Irish whiskey aged only in rum-seasoned casks.

As the latest installment of The Jameson Anthology, it examines novel flavors from Jameson, offering a fresh perspective on a "Irish icon." This follows closely behind the release of Jameson’s 15-year-old single pot still, introduced last year to commemorate the essence of vintage discontinued whiskeys.

The Jameson Remixed Caribbean Beats inaugurates a new epoch for Jameson. This new rendition of Jameson Irish Whiskey is a blend of single pot still and single grain Irish whiskeys, aged for almost twenty years in rum casks sourced from Barbados.

After eighteen years, Jameson’s Master Distiller, Kevin O’Gorman, sought to investigate the influence of an alternative rum style on the whiskey's flavor and opted to age it for an additional three years in casks previously used for Selección de Maestros Havana Club rum, which provided a notably rich rum character.

After maturing for 21 years in rum-seasoned casks, the grain whiskey acquires sweetness from brown sugar and vanilla, while the pot still imbibes fruit notes of orange zest and mango. This uncommon expression maintains a distinct connection to Jameson’s refined DNA through its equilibrium of grain and pot-still whiskeys, while being enhanced by its innovative maturing process.

Regarding the launch of Jameson Remixed Caribbean Beats, Jameson’s Master Distiller, Kevin O’Gorman, stated: “We endeavored to blend two classic spirits – Irish whiskey and rum – ultimately discovering the harmonious intersection where Caribbean rhythm converges with the cadence of the Irish drum.” We eagerly anticipate whiskey aficionados experiencing Jameson Remixed Caribbean Beats.

The new Jameson Remixed Caribbean Beats is available for purchase today on the official Jameson website.
