The single-pot still whiskey is rich in history, including a unique recipe derived from the final remnants of the Old Midleton Distillery, which ceased operations in 1975. The 49-year-old beverage, the brand's oldest liquor, has acquired fruity nuances of peach, apricot, and dates, complemented by sweet hints of frosted almonds and prized wood.

Following the initial sips, Midleton Very Rare’s Silent Distillery Collection Chapter Five whiskey captivates the senses with herbal tea and dark chocolate, complemented by hints of spicy anise and ginger. The flavor of salted caramel and toffee apples permeates the experience, encased in handblown glass bottles crafted by Waterford Crystal of Ireland. The scored container features frosted highlights and gold-plated finishes, situated within an oak burr cabinet crafted by John Galvin.

Midleton Very Rare’s Silent Distillery Collection Chapter Five whiskey will soon be available on the website and at worldwide retailers for $55,000 USD.
