Originally envisioned by the esteemed director Wong Kar Wai, Prada's newest restaurant, Mi Shang, will honor several of the artist's most significant creations. Signifying an obsession, the area will recall the yearning effects of films such as “In the Mood for Love” through contrasting furnishings and mirrors.

Mi Shang is Prada's inaugural stand-alone restaurant in Asia. The area is situated within the ancient 1918 mansion Rong Zhai. After a six-year makeover, Prada Group announced that it will function as the hub for its cultural initiatives, featuring a restaurant on the second floor.

Prada frequently leads in the provision of curated experiences. The Fondazione Prada, hosting both men's and women's runway presentations, functions as a versatile gallery accessible to the public. Within the Fondazione is Bar Luce, a vintage gelateria and café conceived by Wes Anderson.

“The Mi Shang Prada Rong Zhai project exemplifies Prada’s continued dedication to promoting artistic dialogue and practices, building on the success of its collaboration with filmmaker Wes Anderson to establish Bar Luce at Fondazione Prada in Milan,” stated Prada.

Mi Shang will offer an extensive array of culinary options, encompassing coffee, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and a comprehensive bar service. The restaurant will commence public operations on March 31, with reservations accessible starting March 29 through WeChat.
