The Golden Vines Auction Provides Premier Wine-Tasting Experiences

The Sotheby’s Golden Vines Online Auction, renowned for its exceptional selection of premier wines, has commenced once again this year.
The online event is organized to present a unique assortment of large formats (magnums, jeroboams, and larger) from the vaults of premier wine estates worldwide. Each estate featured in the auction has a comprehensive selection, ranging from huge bottles of Grands Vins to exclusive experiences, including private tours, tastings, and sumptuous fine wine lunches or dinners.
A unique assortment of Jeroboams from Colgin Cellars, accompanied by a private vineyard tour for up to six individuals, will be offered alongside a multi-course, gourmet wine meal. An overnight accommodation for two at the La Folie de Vougeot Estate, including of a wine tasting and exclusive dining experience, is also available. The exclusive, overnight experience in the Clos Vougeot Grand Cru vineyard at La Folie de Vougeot includes a wine tasting for six guests, showcasing the historical vintages and producers of the Clos de Vougeot.
The 2024 Golden Vines Online Auction has over 100 pieces and seeks to exceed £1 million GBP in funds for the Gérard Basset Foundation. These funds will facilitate a range of diversity-oriented educational programs in excellent wine, rare spirits, and hospitality.
