LEGO has officially ventured into the Star Trek franchise with the introduction of the Star Trek: U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D (10356). The 3,600-piece LEGO Icons set will be released on November 28 for $399.99 USD.
The construction emphasizes precision significantly. Anticipate a detachable command saucer, secondary hull, warp nacelles featuring red and blue accents, an opening shuttlebay containing two shuttlepods, and an angled exhibition stand accompanied by a specification plaque. Nine minifigures from Star Trek: The Next Generation are included: Picard (teacup), Riker (trombone), Data (Spot), Worf (phaser), Beverly Crusher, Geordi La Forge (tricorder/engineering case), Deanna Troi (PADD), Guinan (bottle), and Wesley Crusher (portable tractor beam).
