Featuring eye-tracking technology, fast refresh rates and HDR10+ Gaming, the monitors are optimized for up to 120 compatible games through collaborations with developers including CD Projekt Red and Pearl Abyss.

Samsung's participation in GDC 2026 focuses on transforming Odyssey 3D from a mere display into a comprehensive environment. The business asserts that its glasses-free 3D gaming library will expand from over 60 compatible titles currently to more than 120 by the conclusion of 2026, all accessible via the Odyssey 3D Hub platform on its latest displays. Prominent titles such as Hell Is Us and Cronos: The New Dawn indicate that third-party studios regard Samsung’s 3D mode as a legitimate feature, integrating it alongside established support for games like Stellar Blade, Lies of P, and Psychonauts 2.
Odyssey 3D utilizes eye-tracking and view-mapping technology to provide depth without the typical discomfort associated with 3D experiences. The monitors dynamically calibrate the stereoscopic effect to correspond with the player's position in real time, while specifications such as a 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time strive to maintain clarity throughout rapid action, even with 3D activated. Samsung is incorporating HDR10+ Gaming onto select Odyssey models and televisions, featuring Cyberpunk 2077 and Crimson Desert to demonstrate scene-specific adjustments in brightness, contrast, and color. Samsung is wagering that the expanding game catalog, glasses-free immersion, and HDR pipeline will transition PC gaming from a failed experiment to a commonplace feature for 3D screens.
