Spotify has resolved the inconvenient problem of forgetting to download music until after boarding a flight. The feature, termed Offline Backup, when activated, automatically generates and downloads a playlist for offline utilization.

Offline Backup puts a user's queued and recently streamed music into a playlist. The program just utilizes tracks that are already cached on the user's device, regardless of whether the songs have been downloaded.

Upon creation, users can organize their Offline Backup playlist and categorize songs by emotion or genre. The playlist consistently adapts to incorporate the user's most recently streamed songs, mirroring their evolving preferences.

Offline Backup, which was introduced in testing last year, is now accessible worldwide to Spotify Premium customers.
