The Swiss jewellery house Chopard unveils fluid shapes in its iconic Ice Cube design within its newly launched capsule collection.
The house's Ice Cube design is geometric and ultra-minimal, originally centred on the dynamics of light. Since its inception 25 years ago, the Bauhaus-inspired, futuristic style has emerged as a paradigm of current design identity.

The latest capsule of the Ice Cube range emphasises a contemporary aesthetic, drawing inspiration from the nocturnal illumination of urban skylines, particularly the little lights emanating from towering skyscrapers. To replicate this appearance, Chopard’s Haute Joailleries workshops, after which the new capsule is named, fabricate cubes of differing heights with a mirror-polished finish and arrange them in a flexible, mesh-like configuration that allows light to be collected from multiple angles.
The ultimate outcome is the fabrication of a triple-layered choker necklace and bracelet. The items are crafted from sustainably sourced 18-carat rose gold, with diamonds set in alternating cubes to enhance their brilliance, making them ideal for special events.
The house recruits recently appointed ambassador Bella Hadid for the "Sculpted by Light" campaign, embodying a modern aesthetic. The figure, positioned against an urban backdrop, demonstrates how the items are designed to adapt to the body's movements, enabling both the wearer and the jewellery to function in unison. She is also depicted donning more items from the house's Ice Cube collection, in gold and white gold variations.
