The yet-to-be-titled single premiered on the latest episode of OVO Sound’s The Fry Yiy Show, with Drizzy addressing his struggle to experience his own feelings and engage intimately with his partner. Kardashian subsequently incorporates a statement she made during the series finale of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, in which she conversed with her mother, Kris Jenner, regarding her divorce from Kanye West. “I did not progress to this point merely to reach it without experiencing happiness,” stated the reality television personality and entrepreneur.

The Boy's track, which samples Kardashian, gets released shortly after he teased another unreleased song made by BYNX. “Rescue Me” conveys the rapper’s yearning to be removed from the dating scene, as he articulates, “Come and rescue me / Take me out the club, take me out the trap / Take me off the market, take me off the map / I’m attempting to contact the group chat and inform them.”
