Dua Lipa Shows Her New Chocolate Hair Accompanied by a Silver Bodysuit and Sparkling Gloves

Following the conclusion of her global tour last week, Dua Lipa engaged in a common practice for those on the cusp of a new chapter: she altered her hair colour.

In addition to her exceptional vocal talent, captivating melodies, and dazzling fashion choices, Lipa has gained recognition for her constantly evolving hairstyles. The natural brunette has experimented with numerous tints, ranging from platinum to jet black, including her characteristic cherry cola red, a brief pink phase, and several blonde variations.

To commemorate the conclusion of an era and the commencement of a new one, she opted for a more understated, gentle transformation. Hair colourist Matt Rez, renowned for his work with celebrities such as Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner, and Addison Rae, transformed her long hair from Radical Optimism black to a chocolate-brown hue, complementing the colour of her eyes. To enhance the cut, she used adaptable face-framing strands, which she dressed as both layers and side fringe.

The new appearance marked her first significant transformation in almost a year, as she transitioned from red back to her natural dark roots—aligning with a noteworthy performance at Royal Albert Hall in London. Rez was responsible for this appearance, as well as the distinctive cherry preceding it.

Lipa showcased her new brown hair during a private concert in Cancún, Mexico, as part of the Quest by Power event. Adorned in silver, she ascended the stage in a bespoke Courreges bodysuit featuring a halter neckline and strategic cut-outs. A complementing belt around her neck functioned as a choker, while matching gloves on her arms provided a striking final accent to the ensemble.

She disseminated images from the event, featuring personal highlights such as an endearing polaroid with Callum Turner, shrimp tacos and striking sculptural earrings.
