New expeditions via the United Kingdom, Turkey, and additional destinations are forthcoming on the Corinthian and the Orient Express Olympian.
The opportunity to go on the iconic Orient Express is a quintessential bucket list experience, and Accor Group is capitalising on the resurgence of interest in the brand's luxury sailing itineraries scheduled for 2027.

A series of extravagant train journeys is scheduled on the refurbished and opulent Orient Express “La Dolce Vita,” while the Orient Express Corinthian has been acclaimed as the largest sailing yacht in the world. The recently announced Orient Express Olympian outlines a profitable and desirable route with new itineraries, prior to the Corinthian's inaugural trip. “Spring 2027 signifies a pivotal moment for Orient Express Sailing Yachts,” states Accor Group, with itineraries spanning northern Europe and the eastern Mediterranean establishing a remarkable new trajectory.
Maritime routes connecting Turkey and Greece to Scandinavia will augment previously disclosed itineraries encompassing regions such as the Adriatic and the Italian Riviera. The Corinthian and the Olympian are marketed as epitomes of luxury, featuring ultra-exclusive suites that promise "rare intimacy" alongside breathtaking panoramic views and a comprehensive array of world-class experiences, enhanced by cuisine crafted by Michelin-starred chef Yannick Alléno.
A route commencing in Piraeus traverses the Aegean Sea, concluding in Istanbul, while London serves as the origin for a northern European route that terminates near Mont-Saint-Michel. A newly announced route transports travellers from London to the uniquely different city of Copenhagen across the North Sea, returning to London via Edinburgh and the Firth of Forth. Every proposed excursion appears increasingly alluring, characterised by the comparative scarcity of its destinations and the luxurious design of its accommodations and communal spaces aboard each extraordinary journey.
Orient Express/ Accor Group
The design of each vessel, partially overseen by French artisans, aims to enhance the sailing experience beyond conventional, mass-market cruise ships, according to Accor Group. The Orient Express Corinthian and Olympian draw inspiration from their terrestrial equivalents, as their designs reinterpret the golden age of rail travel and the grandeur of early ocean liners through a modern perspective.
Accor Group aimed to transcend conventional luxury in the quest for an innovative sailing experience. The conditions of the high seas should influence each voyage as its pair of vessels navigate "favourable winds" to minimise environmental effect. The Orient Express states that each boat is "fitted with advanced environmental technologies" aimed at "reducing their impact while providing memorable voyages."
