BLACKPINK's JENNIE generates excitement for her inaugural solo album Ruby with the launch of "ExtraL," a bass-driven duet with Grammy-winning rapper Doechii.

The tune showcases the dynamic delivery of both performers over a polished, hip-hop-infused groove created by Dem Jointz.

In conjunction with the formal release of the song, JENNIE and Doechii unveil visuals that exceed fans' expectations. Directed by Cole Bennett, the polished music video showcases JENNIE and Doechii dominating the screen in coordinated ivory suits as they exchange verses. The song's captivating hook, "Do my ladies run this?" establishes it as a hymn of empowerment.

Ruby is set to release on March 7, showcasing collaborations with Childish Gambino, Dua Lipa, Dominic Fike, FKJ, and Kali Uchis. The album is scheduled to include 15 tracks, include this collaboration with Doechii and her October 2024 single "Mantra." In a prior interview with Billboard, the musician discussed the nature of her debut solo album and what fans may anticipate. I aim to fully realise my identity as Jennie Ruby-Jane, so becoming a complete individual. Upon the album's release, you will comprehend my intent, as I am experimenting with various genres and elements — incorporating rapping, singing, harmonising, and spoken word. The overall sound was my assurance of liking each individual song. JENNIE will commemorate with The Ruby Experience, a sequence of live concerts in Los Angeles, New York, and Seoul.
