The installation itself serves as the genuine catalyst for discussion. Nuriev, the creator and creative director of Crosby Studios, is recognised for challenging the boundaries of form and scale, a characteristic seen in this work. He redesigned the boutique's façade including a huge chrome sculpture of Jimmy Choo's IXIA drop heel pump. It appears to be penetrating the front window, generating a bizarre, larger-than-life experience. A curated assortment of items from Jimmy Choo Creative Director Sandra Choi’s personal archive provides guests with insight into the craftsmanship and design evolution that define the brand.

The presentation perpetuates the artistic exchange between Choi and Nuriev, which has transpired in Paris, Tokyo, Milan, and now Miami. Here, it concludes in a manner that appears particularly appropriate. Art Week features numerous installations and visual experiments; nevertheless, this particular piece distinguishes itself by merging the realms of fashion object and sculptural statement. The installation will continue until December 7 at the Design District.
