KATSEYE Recognised as Global Artist of the Year in TikTok's 2025 Music Recap

The global music chart is unexpectedly led by the 1962 classic by Connie Francis, “Pretty Little Baby.”

TikTok's 2025 Year in Music summary has designated KATSEYE as the Global Artist of the Year. The list included a varied ensemble of prominent artists, such as ENHYPEN, Bad Bunny, Stray Kids, Taylor Swift, and Lady Gaga.

KATSEYE has attained significant success in the industry since its launch in 2024. TikTok reported that the group's music amassed over 30 billion views and was featured in 12 million projects on the platform in 2025. The duo achieved mainstream notoriety beyond TikTok, with their song "Gabriela" reaching No. 31 and their EP BEAUTIFUL CHAOS attaining No. 4 on the Billboard 200. Their influence is further underscored by their Grammy nominations this year for Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Connie Francis' 1962 song, "Pretty Little Baby," achieved the status of the highest-ranking song worldwide and in the U.S. following a significant viral comeback on the site. Jess Glynne's "Hold My Hand" attained the second position both globally and nationally. Moreover, Doechii’s “Anxiety” was acknowledged as the most influential music trend of the year, underscoring TikTok’s substantial contribution to music discovery across diverse genres and periods.
