Kim Kardashian to Produce and Star in the Comedy Film 'The 5th Wheel'

Five major studios are reportedly competing for the rights.

Kim Kardashian will showcase her acting abilities in a forthcoming comedy film entitled The 5th Wheel, as reported by Deadline. The reality star and entrepreneur will reportedly both star in and produce the female-centric film. Although specifics regarding the film's narrative remain undisclosed, the screenplay was authored by Paula Pell and Janine Brito. Kardashian and Pell will collaborate to co-produce the project.

According to Deadline, Kardashian has been presenting The 5th Wheel to prominent studios in Hollywood. The publication indicated that several bids for the film had already been submitted, with five studios competing for the rights.

Kardashian is primarily recognised for her successful reality program, currently streaming on Hulu as The Kardashians, but has gradually transitioned into acting roles. She formerly worked as a voice actress for two Paw Patrol films and recently portrayed a ruthless publicist in the latest season of American Horror Story.
