Netflix is broadening its commercial endeavours with a new series entitled Calabasas, produced by Kim Kardashian, Emma Roberts, and I. Marlene King, the creator of Pretty Little Liars.

Kardashian collaborates with her American Horror Story co-star to adapt Via Bleidner’s book, If You Lived Here You’d Be Famous By Now, aiming to showcase more of Calabasas on television. The series chronicles a 16-year-old sheltered Catholic school student who encounters new challenges when transferring to Calabasas High. Kardashian is serving as an executive producer alongside King, her spouse Lauren Wagner, Roberts Karah Preiss, and Matt Matruski for Belletrist Productions and Alexandra Milchan. King is scheduled to author the script and assume the position of showrunner.

Calabasas has served as the backdrop for the Kardashian reality series Keeping Up With the Kardashians and subsequently Hulu's The Kardashians. She and her family are renowned for establishing Calabasas's prominence, and this marks the reality star's fourth endeavour since the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Kardashian has collaborated with Netflix to produce the series Fifth Wheel. No information is available regarding the releasing date of the series.
