Type 7/ Erg Media
The initiative, led by ERG Media, the creators of Type 7, showcases high-resolution photography by chief creative Thomas Walk, who emphasises the "Raceborn textures, patina, and innovative thinking" of the elements. In-depth storytelling is facilitated by partnership with the Porsche Corporate Archive, complemented by interviews with notable individuals such as esteemed team operator Roger Penske and factory drivers Richard Lietz and Pascal Wehrlein.
The book, designed in cooperation with Andy Cruz of House Industries, showcases a deep red, embossed, leather-like cover that alludes to 1960s archival files. This English-language hardcover, weighing 7.7 kg, is published by ERG Media and retails for €350 EUR (roughly $405 USD), offering a tactile experience for people motivated by heritage.
