SWA Diamond has achieved a new Guinness World Record by incorporating 24,679 diamonds onto a single ring.

What is the maximum number of diamonds that can be accommodated in a single ring? The response is 24,679, as stated in the latest Guinness World Records Book.



SWA Diamonds, an India-based jewelry firm, established a record with their remarkable design in May. The ring is designed to resemble a pink oyster mushroom, symbolizing immortality and longevity. The computer-generated design required approximately three months for SWA Diamonds to finalize before to commencing the construction of the ring. Following thorough research and deliberation, the ring was crafted by pouring gold into a plastic mold to shape the 41 distinct mushroom petals, which were subsequently embellished by hand with real diamonds.

“There is no greater fulfillment than to realize your aspirations as intended.” “Our team feels a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction upon learning that we have secured a new Guinness World Records title,” states Abdul Gafar Anadiyan, general director of SWA Diamond.



The carat weight was not disclosed; nonetheless, the ring's weight is 340 grams, and its valuation is US$95,243. A team of independent gemologists authenticated the ring by assessing and validating the stone's weight, carat, clarity, type, and cut.

The ring was named "The Touch of Ami." Anadiyan stated, “It signifies the success of entrepreneurship in our state's diamond industry.”



The Indian gems and jewellery sector ranks among the largest globally, accounting for approximately 29 percent of worldwide jewellery consumption. Diamonds constitute India's third-largest export revenue source, generating US$16 billion in 2020. Ninety percent of the world's diamonds pass through India, particularly in the city of Surat, located on the Arabian Sea coast, where the majority are cut and polished. India, home to numerous skilled jewellers, has undoubtedly produced three of the previous world record holders.

Harshit Bansal, the founder of Renani Jewels in Meerut, India, received the honor on December 21, 2020. The ring, known as the Marigold or "The Ring of Prosperity," is a circular band adorned with an intricate flower motif, embellished with 12,638 real diamonds totaling 38.08 carats.

In 2019, Lakshikaa Jewels of Mumbai, India, crafted a striking ring over a period of 18 months, featuring 7,777 diamonds set on an 18k gold foundation. Valued at US$4.9 million, it was meticulously created by a team of twelve artisans and one skilled jeweler and designer to replicate the Lotus Temple in Delhi in a piece of jewelry.
