Rihanna Unveils $700,000 USD Jacob & Co. Timepiece Choker

Rihanna has achieved another record, albeit this time it pertains to a non-musical initiative or endeavour. The vocalist collaborated with renowned jewellery designer Jacob The Jeweller of Jacob & Co. to produce a diamond-encrusted watch choker, marking the inaugural instance of an individual wearing one of the brand's timepieces around their neck.
The choker's composition justifies its $700,000 USD price tag. Jacob & Co. announced on Instagram that the 47-mm white gold Brilliant Flying Tourbillon watch, featuring an impressive 368 diamonds, has been reinterpreted and redesigned for wear as a choker. The radiant watch features a collection of baguette-cut diamonds exceeding 30 carats, all set on a black leather strap.
In a subsequent Instagram post, Jacob & Co. disclosed that Rihanna significantly contributed to the development of the revolutionary timepiece. “When Rihanna engaged Jacob & Co, she envisioned a watch choker that would constitute a striking fashion statement for the eagerly awaited Louis Vuitton fashion show,” the brand stated.
The vocalist complemented the standout piece with a complete denim ensemble from Louis Vuitton, coordinating with A$AP Rocky.
