This release succeeds her landmark accomplishment with “APT.” with Bruno Mars, which positioned her as the inaugural female Korean artist to attain the number one spot on Spotify's U.S. list. Her most recent work unveils a more personal facet of her artistic creativity.

The song's emotional profundity is conveyed through poignant lyrics: “Isn’t it lonely, I’d do anything to make you desire me / I’d relinquish everything if you informed me / That I’d be the foremost girl in your esteem.”
