Starbucks Japan & PORTER
Starbucks Japan has collaborated with PORTER for a new merchandise release featuring exclusive bags and stainless steel tumblers adorned with co-branded designs. Starbucks Japan and PORTER are recognised for their extensive collaborations and share several mutual partners, such as fragment design and AMBUSH. Thus, it may be unexpected to learn that this marks their inaugural direct collaboration, as previously, Starbucks Japan had only partnered with PORTER Classic, the apparel division of the bagmaker.
The collection's drum bags are crafted from PORTER's distinctive MA-1 style waterproof nylon and are available in two sizes: a compact version for quick coffee runs and a bigger variant capable of accommodating electronics and chargers alongside your coffee. In addition to the bags, the reusable tumblers are offered in white, orange, and black, featuring distinctive Starbucks and Porter logos. The release features exclusive “Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo” bottles and bags, available exclusively for purchase at the store. These stainless steel bottles and drum bags are available in muted black and copper hues.
at commemoration of the release, Starbucks Japan and PORTER are presenting a distinctive exhibition titled “Starbucks in the PORTER Gallery” to showcase the collection’s iconography and highlight the historical significance of each brand. The pop-up event will take place at PORTER’s Tokyo and Omotesando locations from June 21 to June 30.
