Taylor Swift Gave an Emotional Speech at Selena Gomez's Wedding

Taylor Swift may have discreetly entered Selena Gomez's wedding this Saturday without drawing attention, but once inside, the "Fortnight" singer assumed a significant role.

According to a source from People, Swift delivered an emotional speech at the wedding reception of Gomez and Benny Blanco. Ed Sheeran, who has partnered with Blanco on multiple albums, also allegedly addressed the audience, as did the parents of the newlyweds.

Swift attended the wedding unaccompanied, while her NFL star partner Travis Kelce remained in Kansas City, Missouri, to prepare for an important game.

“At the reception, attendees were reveling and celebrating them well into the night,” the source said People. The atmosphere was quite enjoyable. They remarked, “They radiated joy throughout the night, and both Selena and Benny were incessantly smiling.” The room was filled with an abundance of affection.

The much anticipated wedding of Gomez and Blanco took place in Santa Barbara, California. The newlywed couple reserved the El Encanto hotel for their Friday evening rehearsal dinner, while their Saturday ceremony occurred at the Sea Crest Nursery farm, a private estate in Goleta, with views of the Pacific Ocean.

Gomez and Blanco were accompanied by their relatives, including Swift, Paris Hilton, and Gomez’s Only Murders in the Building co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin.

The bride epitomized elegance in a bespoke Ralph Lauren gown, characterized by a halter neckline embellished with intricate, beautiful florals.

“September 27, 2025” Gomez provided a commentary for an Instagram post showcasing images from the wedding. Blanco affectionately remarked, “my wife in reality.”
