A replica of the renowned JR East Green Station Clock is being launched as a desk item.

The distinctive sounds and innovative attributes of Japanese train stations are cherished by several individuals, particularly the emblematic clocks located on platforms managed by East Japan Railway (JR East). These clocks are distinguished by their brilliant yellow-green dials, which impart a characteristic luminescent quality. This iconic design is now available for enthusiasts to acquire as a desk or bedside table accessory.
Takarajimasha, a publisher located in Tokyo, is issuing a painstakingly reproduced edition of the clock as part of its "mook" series. This accurate reproduction features the recognisable JR East logo, the unique hands, and the precise frame. With dimensions of 13.4×10×4.1 centimetres (about 5.28×3.94×1.61 inches), it is ideally suited for home display.
In addition to its aesthetic charm, the clock incorporates distinctive alarms developed by the 75-year-old firm Eiraku Electric. Rail enthusiasts will be delighted to discover the ability to switch between two distinct “authentic train departure bell sounds” with a little flip of a switch, providing a novel method to commence the day and guarantee the punctuality of significant morning engagements.
The JR East Green Station Clock Book will be released on January 14, 2026, by Takarajimasha.
