Introduced at CES in Las Vegas on January 5, Acer's newest gaming gear signifies a substantial advancement in portable computing. The latest Predator and Nitro series from the company are the inaugural models to completely incorporate Intel’s Core Ultra Series 3 processors with NVIDIA’s Blackwell-powered GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs. This combo aims to provide a superior AI-enhanced experience, transcending basic frame rates to furnish on-device creative and productivity solutions through the Windows 11 Copilot+ PC platform.

The premier Predator Helios Neo 16S AI (PHN16S-I51) features a slender 18.9 mm metal chassis, accommodating an Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU 386H and an RTX 5070 GPU. The 16-inch WQXGA OLED display features a 165 Hz refresh rate, guaranteeing that the superior graphics fidelity provided by NVIDIA DLSS 4 is rendered with impeccable pixel clarity. Acer has employed a 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D fan system in conjunction with liquid metal thermal grease to address the thermal requirements of its high-performance internals.
The Nitro V series introduces the Nitro V 16 AI and the ultra-slim Nitro V 16S AI, catering to the budget-conscious yet technologically adept gamer. Both devices employ Intel Core Ultra 7 CPUs and utilise NPU-driven functionalities such as Live Captions and Image Creator. The ecosystem is complemented by the Predator Galea 570 headset, equipped with ENC technology for clear communication, and the Cestus 530 gaming mouse, which has an 8,000 Hz polling rate for nearly rapid response times in competitive settings.
