Backbone has declared a significant partnership with Kojima Productions to launch a limited-edition Death Stranding 2 controller. This product, based on the PlayStation Edition of the Backbone One, signifies the company's inaugural limited-edition controller partnership with PlayStation.
This limited-edition controller, inspired by Sam Porter Bridges, the protagonist of the game, encapsulates the themes of persistence and exploration central to Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. The design is inspired by the unique hues of Sam's world and the Drawbridge organization, culminating in a controller engineered to facilitate any arduous journey.

Each unit is encased in a durable, numbered, and collectible case specifically created for this edition, which also features a commemorative collector’s tag. This packaging safeguards the controller while simultaneously functioning as a display-worthy memento that embodies the Death Stranding universe.
The controller exhibits adaptability across several platforms, compatible with cloud gaming services such as Apple Arcade, GeForce NOW, Amazon Luna, and PC, enabling users to access a diverse array of titles from their iPhone or Android devices via PlayStation Remote Play. Only 1,350 units of the Death Stranding 2 Backbone are produced. One controller is priced little around $160 USD and will be accessible globally through Backbone and Kojima Productions' online stores commencing November 6.
