The device, powered by the advanced A18 chip, boasts enhanced performance and energy efficiency due to its second-generation three-nanometer technology. This innovation further accelerates Apple Intelligence, the tech giant’s new digital assistant, which can comprehend and generate both language and images, execute tasks across multiple applications, and utilize personal context to simplify daily activities. The tool operates impeccably, capable of promptly summarizing text in the Notes app, generating realistic responses in Mail, effortlessly altering the tone of designated text, and transcribing and summarizing audio.

The A18 chip endows the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max with a 17% increase in memory bandwidth, enhancing the six-core GPU, which is also up to 20% faster. According to the business, it is the fastest in a smartphone and represents a remarkable enhancement, as it executes identical workloads to the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max versions at a 15% increased speed while consuming 20% less power. The device's battery, composed of 100% recycled cobalt and over 95% recycled lithium, has been significantly enhanced to enable 33 hours of video playback.
