Dyson has collaborated with PORTER to produce a limited-edition set that combines the British technology brand's OnTrac headphones with a bespoke satchel crafted by the Japanese bag manufacturer.

Initially introduced last year, the OnTrac headphones represented Dyson's second foray into the personal audio sector, and its collaboration with PORTER signifies the most recent in a series of culturally focused partnerships and initiatives that have featured Raye, Stormzy, and a sneaker design workshop in London.

The collaboration, restricted to just 380 sets globally, merges Dyson's mechanical expertise with PORTER's esteemed tradition of Japanese craftsmanship, catering to individuals who regard gear as heirlooms. Crafted by craftspeople in Japan, the bags exemplify functional luxury. Each item comprises 77 distinct components, incorporating a newly designed external headphone holder exclusive to this release, and is presented in a tiny blue silhouette adorned with PORTER’s characteristic orange and khaki highlights, a colour scheme chosen by Jake Dyson. The headphones are equipped with CNC Black Nickel outer caps machined to sub-micrometre perfection and laser-etched with PORTER's symbol.

Each set includes a “tech slice” for enthusiasts to showcase – a small capsule comprising technological pieces from the development of the OnTrac headphones encased in resin – which is etched with a corresponding limited-edition number.
