The foldable Apple iPhone is speculated to provide an iPad-like user experience when unfolded. Leaked material from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman indicates that the technology giant is creating a specialised multitasking interface for its forthcoming horizontal-folding tablet. Gurman reports that the Apple smartphone will possess an external screen comparable in dimensions to a conventional iPhone, which unfolds to disclose a broader 4:3 inside display. Speculation is that the gadget will operate on a modified iteration of iOS, facilitating side-by-side application layouts instead of natively utilising iPadOS. Developers are expected to obtain tools to expand their current programs for the wider interface.

Hardware leaks indicate that the inside display is excessively thin to accommodate the conventional Face ID sensor array, necessitating a transition to a side-mounted Touch ID button. Notwithstanding this internal modification, the brand's hallmark Dynamic Island is anticipated to continue prominently on the cover screen with a front-facing selfie camera.
