Google Photos Memories Can Now Be Shared As Video Files

The Memories component of Google Photos has consistently been an enjoyable aspect of the application; yet, sharing these Memories with others has proven to be quite cumbersome. Up to this point. You can now modify your Google Photos Memories and share them as video clips.

Memories Can Now Be Shared Beyond Google Photos

In 2019, Google introduced a Memories feature to its Photos application. Memories is a feature like to Stories that emphasizes past memories, particular days, or photographs that have a commonality.

Google has endeavored to enhance the shareability of these Memories, acknowledging the desire of individuals to share such events with family and friends. Nonetheless, sharing photo slideshows outside using the app has always posed challenges for individuals who do not utilize Google Photos.

Currently, circumstances have altered. Initially reported by Smartdroid, Google Photos now enables users to send Memories as video files, eliminating the necessity for recipients to click a link and access the Google Photos app.

If you encounter a Memory you like to share, you may alter it prior to disseminating the complete photo slideshow as a video file. Simply hit the Share icon and select Share Memory.

You may either share it in its current form, complete with all photos and the default name. Select Edit to modify the name, remove certain photos, or toggle the background music on or off.

Upon completion, you may share it via Google Photos or any other social networking or messaging application of your choice. As the Memory is transmitted as a video file, it is immediately watchable.

I will now share Google Photos memories with a broader audience

The simplicity of sharing Google Photos Memories with anyone will yield a singular outcome. The objective is to enable me to share them with a broader audience. Even individuals who are unlikely to be interested in my activities on a specific day in January 2021.

I question why it took Google an extended period to incorporate the functionality of sharing Photos Memories as video files. The business seemingly aimed to compel users to utilize Google Photos instead. Nonetheless, it is a commendable enhancement to an already exceptional feature.
