The brand’s first drop arrives as a blind-box series, layering playful utility with graded scarcity — headlined by the coveted Slime Guy.

TapCap has officially unveiled the TapCap Creatures Mystery Box, presenting a patented collectible that merges desk decor with tactile interaction. The initial release rapidly sold out in less than seven hours, indicating substantial community demand for the hybrid fidget toy and mechanical keyboard keycap.
Every full-body character in the TapCap Creatures collection is meticulously crafted to serve as a clickable fidget toy, an independent desk collectible, and a practical keycap. The figures are designed to be entirely compatible with MX-style mechanical keyboards, the industry standard for most mechanical configurations, although a keyboard is not essential to appreciate the offering. The collection is disseminated using a blind-box method that has inherent rarity tiers, including Core figures, Rare variants (1/18), and the Ultra Rare “Slime Guy” (1/102).

TapCap has augmented its physical ecology by introducing a browser-based mini-game concurrent with the physical drop, allowing participants to compete for leaderboard rankings. Elite performers and randomly chosen participants have the opportunity to acquire exclusive goodies, including a unique Rainbow Slime Guy TapCap that will not be available for retail purchase, along with a singular TapCap XL Rainbow Slime Guy. The TapCap XL figures are created for collectors, measuring slightly over 13.5 inches in height—approximately nine times the size of ordinary TapCaps—and incorporate custom-engineered gigantic switches that emulate the tactile click of the standard caps.
The TapCap Creatures Mystery Box is now accessible on the TapCap website. The brand intends to regularly launch new original collections throughout the year, in addition to forthcoming licensed collaborations in entertainment, gaming, and sports.
