At CES 2025, JBL introduced its most sophisticated over-ear headphones to date: the Tour ONE M3, among a variety of other product launches. The Harman-owned firm designates its latest headphones as “the most feature-rich” among its products, primarily due to the debut of the first-ever JBL SMART Tx audio transmitter.

The headphones are compatible with nearly any source, including in-flight entertainment systems, PCs, tablets, or televisions; the touch-screen companion functions as a portable wireless control center. The transmitter enhances latency, stability, and quality while providing comprehensive control over music playback, call management, EQ settings, and Auracast-enabled broadcasting. Users configure JBL Personi-Fi 3.0 via an in-app auditory assessment, wherein JBL’s technology facilitates the creation of a personalized sound profile with a 12-band equalizer and distinct left/right balance optimization.

Alongside superior functionality, JBL provides exceptional audio quality through newly engineered 40mm Mica Dome drivers that deliver immersive, balanced sound. The JBL True Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0 has an innovative 8-microphone technology to eliminate external noise, while users can activate Ambient Aware and TalkThru for selective sound admission. The incorporation of integrated head tracking using JBL Spatial 360 provides users with a very authentic auditory experience, enabling them to move their heads while sounds remain stationary in space.

Despite the device being replete with numerous practical features, JBL maintains a beautifully basic appearance characterized by a smooth matte exterior offered in Black, Mocha, and Blue.

The JBL Tour ONE M3 with JBL SMART Tx will be available for purchase on April 13, 2025, at the JBL online store for $399.95 USD.
