The Muo, conceived by Ross Lovegrove, draws inspiration from KEF's sculptural Muon speakers.

The esteemed British audio firm KEF has recently introduced a new high-fidelity portable speaker, the Muo. Leveraging decades of technological proficiency in producing premium sound systems, KEF has developed a streamlined, portable speaker engineered to provide pristine audio in many daily activities without sacrificing sound quality.

The Muo has Bluetooth® 5.4 with aptX Adaptive™ for superior, low-latency audio, a 24-hour battery life, an integrated microphone for voice recognition, and an IP67-rated waterproof and dustproof construction for enhanced durability.
Besides its performance, the Muo serves as an artistic item in its own right. Conceived by Ross Lovegrove, the Muo draws influence from KEF’s renowned two-meter-tall sculptural Muon HiFi speakers, rendering it both visually captivating and acoustically formidable. The product is offered in “Silver Dusk,” “Amber Haze,” “Orange Moon,” “Blue Aura,” “Moss Green,” “Cocoa Brown,” and “Midnight Black,” each accompanied with coordinating tone-on-tone carrying straps for enhanced personalization.

In celebration of the launch, KEF has engaged three emerging artists – Si Xiazi, Kev Munday, and Ben Poultney (known as ‘Draw My Town’) – to produce artworks inspired by the speaker and its color schemes. Every artist generated two works, one of which was crafted live at the launch event.
The works are presently shown at the KEF Music Gallery in London, with complimentary entrance. The KEF Muo speaker is currently available on the brand's website, and the show at the KEF Music Gallery in London will continue until October 25.
