Seventy hours of listening with the active noise-cancelling feature enabled. One hundred hours without.

Marshall has unveiled its new product in the personal audio lineup: a pair of wireless headphones boasting an exceptional 70-hour battery life, launched alongside a campaign featuring Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong.
The Monitor III A.N.C. headphones leverage over 60 years of audio experience from the British company, establishing itself as the pinnacle product in personal audio. The product, as indicated by its name, has active noise-cancelling (ANC) technology. While this function is commonplace in contemporary headphones, the Monitor III A.N.C. distinguishes itself with an impressive 70 hours of battery life while ANC is activated. If 70 hours is insufficient, the manufacturer claims the headphones can operate for over 100 hours with Active Noise Cancellation disabled — consider it a trade-off. The extended battery life appears to be a prevailing trend in recent headphone launches, exemplified by the P100 from Cambridge Audio and Dyson’s OnTrac, both of which provide comparable battery durations. However, it is noteworthy that both models do not meet Marshall’s assertion of 70 hours, achieving just 60 and 50 hours, respectively.

In addition to ANC, the headphones provide an enhanced transparency mode to filter external sounds and maintain awareness of your environment. Marshall has incorporated its 'Adaptive Loudness' technology into its new headphones, which automatically calibrates the lows, mids, and highs to maintain them at "the most optimal" level regardless of the volume. The headphones include 32mm speakers with a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, and when used in wired mode, they possess a 35-ohm impedance, allowing for optimal compatibility with low-power devices such as smartphones without the necessity for an external amplifier. Marshall has unveiled a new spatial audio feature termed 'Soundstage', enabling users to engage with their music in an immersive manner.

The Monitor III A.N.C. are collapsible and weigh only 250 g (8.8 oz), rendering them optimal for travel. The device features genuine tactile buttons, including a multi-directional button for adjusting settings like volume and track selection, and a completely programmable “M” button. Similar to most contemporary electronics, the headphones utilize USB-C for charging and require approximately two and a half hours for a complete charge.
The Marshall Monitor III A.N.C. are currently available on Marshall's website, priced at £299 GBP, $349 USD, and €349 EUR.
