MelGeek raises the benchmark for competitive gear with the introduction of the MelGeek Centauri Hall Effect Gaming Keyboard. The flagship peripheral seeks to transform the gaming experience by merging high-performance engineering with innovative design, emphasising profound sensory integration and customisable inputs. The 80-percent layout has a suspended aluminium alloy unibody frame significantly influenced by cyberpunk aesthetics, highlighted by a nearly two-inch OLED touchscreen that delivers a retina-grade 325 PPI at a 60Hz refresh rate. The physical Super Dock rotary encoder enables users to modify lighting, change live wallpapers, and activate macros in real-time without interrupting their job.

The Centauri utilises a distributed multi-MCU architecture to operate an advanced magnetic switch mechanism. Equipped with TTC Flip King of Magnetic White switches, the keyboard guarantees a latency of 0.125 milliseconds and dynamic scanning for seamless accuracy. Additionally, the gasket-mounted configuration is enhanced by a robust EMI shield, meticulously designed to diminish cross-key interference by 60 percent. A dynamic hardware configuration is complemented by a brilliant three-sided RGB illumination system capable of displaying 16 million colours, all managed effortlessly via MelGeek’s proprietary Hive software. The MelGeek Centauri80 Hall Effect Gaming Keyboard is currently available at MelGeek.
