Meta and Xbox have collaborated to introduce the Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition — a limited-edition variant of Meta's mixed-reality headgear, which was released late last year.

The technology conglomerates have collaborated to launch a package with a bespoke Meta Quest 3S headset in Xbox's distinctive "Carbon Black" and "Velocity Green" color scheme, accompanied by matching Touch Plus controllers and an Elite Strap. For the first time, the package includes an Xbox controller that is pre-paired with the headset for immediate usability upon unboxing. The controller, presented in a newly designed color, is fully compatible with many gaming systems, including the Xbox Series X, Series S, Macs, and PCs.

This is not their initial collaboration; the Xbox software for Quest was released a few years prior, enabling gamers to stream an extensive library of titles on a huge 26-foot virtual display through the Quest headset via Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta). In its continuous “Play Anywhere” initiative, Microsoft, the proprietor of the Xbox brand, is striving to transform every digital display into an Xbox. Additionally, to promptly engage players, the business is incorporating a three-month subscription to its Game Pass Ultimate membership with each bundle.

The exclusive Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition is currently available for purchase through Meta or Xbox, priced at £379.99 GBP / $399.99 USD. However, expedite your decision, as the brands assert, “once it’s gone, it’s gone.”
