If the Home or Power button on your iPhone is malfunctioning, you cannot capture screenshots using the conventional method. Nonetheless, many approaches I will address are simpler than concurrently pressing two physical buttons. Let we examine.

Capture an iPhone Screenshot Utilizing AssistiveTouch
AssistiveTouch must be activated on your iPhone if the Home button is malfunctioning. This accessibility feature enables access to numerous iPhone operations via a software menu rather than utilizing physical buttons.
To enable this feature, navigate to Settings > Accessibility and select Touch under Physical and Motor. Select AssistiveTouch and activate it in the following menu. This will place a white circular button at the top of your screen.
Tapping the AssistiveTouch symbol offers a menu that grants rapid access to multiple functions. To effortlessly incorporate screenshot functionality into the menu, choose Customize Top Level Menu from the AssistiveTouch settings.
Select an icon you wish to substitute and then choose Screenshot from the available actions. Additionally, you may incorporate another icon by selecting the Plus button and designating the Screenshot action to it.

If you prefer not to navigate through these options, there is a more expedient method to capture screenshots via AssistiveTouch. Select the Double Tap or Long Press option in the AssistiveTouch settings menu and configure it to Screenshot. Subsequently, swiftly tap twice or press and hold the AssistiveTouch button to capture a screenshot.
This is more handy, as it eliminates the need to display the entire AssistiveTouch menu, which occupies screen space. If the AssistiveTouch button is bothersome, reduce the Idle Opacity in the settings menu to enhance its transparency while not in use. The button can be repositioned to any corner of the screen while not in use.
To capture a screenshot, simply pick Screenshot from the AssistiveTouch menu or execute your designated tapping shortcut, and your iPhone will take a screenshot. This operates similarly to the conventional technique of capturing an iPhone screenshot using the buttons. The AssistiveTouch button and associated menu will not be visible in the screenshot.
Capture a Screenshot on iPhone by Tapping the Rear
Additionally, you can utilize an alternative iPhone accessibility shortcut to capture screenshots without employing the buttons. This functionality, known as Back Tap, enables users to execute activities by tapping the rear of their iPhone with their fingers on compatible models (iPhone 8 and subsequent versions).
To configure it, navigate to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Back Tap. You can personalize two functions that are activated by double-tapping and triple-tapping the rear of your device.

Choose Screenshot to capture a rapid image with minimal taps. If you are unwilling to proceed for any reason, consider integrating this shortcut with AssistiveTouch. Select AssistiveTouch as one of your Back Tap shortcuts to enable or disable the feature through tapping.
This is an additional measure; however, if you capture screenshots infrequently, it will maintain a clear screen devoid of obstructions.
Request Siri to retrieve an iPhone Screenshot
One of Siri's lesser-known functions is capturing a screenshot on your behalf. Activate Siri by uttering "Hey Siri" or by pressing and holding the Side button (or the Home button if your iPhone is equipped with one). Instruct Siri by saying, "Take a screenshot," and after a brief interval, she will confirm the command and capture a screenshot as usual.
This method is useful when your hands are soiled or when you are unable to execute the gesture required to capture a screenshot for whatever reason.
You now understand how to capture a screenshot on your iPhone, even in the absence of the Home or other buttons. One or more of these ways will be adequate for capturing screenshots when your buttons are nonfunctional.
Alternatively, contemplate upgrading your iPhone when feasible, particularly if you possess an AppleCare+ warranty plan. Dealing with a malfunctioning Home or Side button becomes exhausting over time.
