OnePlus Introduces New Flagship Android Tablet, 'OnePlus Pad 3'

Measuring a mere six millimeters in thickness, it is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile CPU.

OnePlus is disrupting the Android tablet industry with its recent launch, the OnePlus Pad 3, a very proficient device featuring a huge, luminous display and specifications that, theoretically, should satisfy the most discerning customers.



The new OnePlus Pad 3 is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform, a formidable chipset that competes with Apple’s latest hardware in terms of speed. It boasts a substantial 13.2-inch display, a pristine 3.4K resolution, and an atypical 7:5 aspect ratio. It features a 12-bit color depth and a high pixel density of 315 PPI, rendering it appropriate for both productivity tasks and media playback. Its atypical aspect ratio offers a favorable alternative to the 16:10 displays found on Samsung's flagship tablets, which are arguably the only other Android tablets of comparable size and specifications that can rival the new OnePlus models.

The brand is presenting its latest gadget in two configurations: a 12GB RAM / 256GB model and a more advanced 16GB RAM / 512GB variant, both optimized to leverage the capabilities of the Snapdragon 8 Elite. The OnePlus Pad 3 is engineered for intensive CPU and GPU tasks, accommodating “triple A” games and multiple productivity applications concurrently. It features an advanced cooling system utilizing vapor chambers constructed from a graphene composite material, which facilitates prolonged operation with efficiency. The tablet features an extensive 12,140 mAh battery, surpassing the flagship tablets of both Samsung and Apple, which is said to provide up to 17 hours of continuous movie playback. The battery is sufficiently substantial that OnePlus asserts the OnePlus Pad 3 can "remain on standby for 70 days" and "retain its charge for over two years when powered off."

In conjunction with its new tablet, OnePlus has introduced several accessories. The upgraded OnePlus Pad keyboard is larger than its predecessor and features numerous new keys, including a dedicated AI button. The OnePlus Pad 3 keyboard attaches magnetically and can be adjusted between 110º and 165º angles, enabling users to work comfortably in various scenarios. The business has introduced a new stylus, the OnePlus Stylo 2, which claims to "recognize every one of its 16,000 distinct levels of pressure" and features multiple gestures. Furthermore, OnePlus has introduced a new, lightweight tri-fold folio case that provides many viewing angles and has a magnetic clasp for attachment of the OnePlus Stylo 2.



The innovative tri-fold design of the OnePlus Pad 3 folio case ensures exceptional stability at every angle. Fold the case into a conventional triangle to achieve a stable 20-degree angle, ideal for drawing, writing, or note-taking. The OnePlus Pad 3 features a redesigned triangular foldable shape with a 44-degree angle, facilitating inclined viewing from a frontal perspective. To achieve elevated angles, configure the casing into its Y form to facilitate 60 and 72-degree viewing angles for enhanced clarity in reading. Regardless of the angle selected by users, they are assured of effortless usability and accessibility. Upon completion, simply close the case, and the OnePlus Pad 3 will automatically power off. The new magnetic buckle ensures that the case safeguards the OnePlus Stylo 2, preventing any uncomfortable situations while searching in a bag.



Celina Shi of OnePlus stated that the company's newest tablet integrates "exceptionally rapid hardware, a vivid display, and remarkable portability," asserting confidently that the OnePlus Pad 3 "redefines the Android tablet sector."

The OnePlus Pad 3 is now globally available through OnePlus, with prices commencing at £529 GBP / $699 USD.
