Polaroid Collaborates with MoMA for a Whimsical Instant Camera Partnership

Polaroid has introduced the Now Generation 3 MoMA Edition, a limited-edition instant camera created in partnership with the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). The camera showcases a distinctive monochrome blue exterior, representing a synthesis of art and technology, and honoring creativity and self-expression. The MoMA emblem is prominently featured on the front, underscoring its association with the museum's tradition of artistic innovation. The camera is accompanied by three vivid wrist bands, each adorned with striking graphic designs that enhance the overall appearance.

This special version, based on the Polaroid Now Generation 3, preserves the dual-lens autofocus system, guaranteeing crisp, high-quality photographs in diverse lighting settings. The camera features a double exposure mode, enabling users to superimpose photos for artistic compositions, while the flash enhances brightness for realistic photographs.

In conjunction with the camera, Polaroid and MoMA have partnered to produce a limited-edition i-Type color film, showcasing 12 distinct frame designs. These films use MoMA logos and quotations from notable artists such Vincent van Gogh, Betye Saar, and Milton Glaser. This special film enhances the camera's artistic vision, prompting users to explore photography as a medium of creative expression. This limited edition is obtainable via Polaroid, MoMA Design Store locations, and select retailers for $130 USD.
