It includes a physical "kill switch" to sever the connection of the camera and microphone for complete security.

The Punkt MC03 Premium Secure Smartphone is a hardware-secured handset intended for individuals that prioritise privacy and deliberate technology utilisation. The MC03, created in partnership with the security company Grip, is designed to counteract data collection and surveillance using its proprietary Apostrophy (Aphy) operating system. In contrast to conventional smartphones dependent on centralised cloud services, the MC03 incorporates a built-in “Privacy Ledger” that offers real-time insights about app access to user data, as well as a collection of end-to-end encrypted tools for email, storage, and communication.
From a design standpoint, the MC03 embodies Punkt's hallmark minimalist look, prioritising tactile functionality over superficial embellishments. The tablet is equipped with a 6.7-inch FHD+ display and a durable construction that accommodates a 5500mAh battery, facilitating 30W wired and 15W wireless charging.

A notable hardware characteristic is the physical slider switch positioned on the side of the phone, enabling users to promptly disable the camera and microphone, so offering a mechanical “kill switch” for complete privacy. The MC03 is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor and 8 GB of RAM, delivering dependable performance, complemented with a versatile triple-camera system (64 MP main, 8 MP ultra-wide, and 2 MP macro) and a 32 MP front-facing camera.
The MC03, priced at $699 USD, is presently available for pre-order in Europe via its website. Shipping is scheduled for late January 2026, with North American availability anticipated in Spring 2026.
