The MC03, created in partnership with the security company Grip, is designed to counteract data collection and surveillance using its proprietary Apostrophy (Aphy) operating system. In contrast to conventional smartphones dependent on centralised cloud services, the MC03 incorporates a built-in “Privacy Ledger” that offers real-time insights about app access to user data, as well as a collection of end-to-end encrypted tools for email, storage, and communication.

From a design standpoint, the MC03 embodies Punkt's hallmark minimalist look, prioritising tactile functionality over superficial embellishments.
