Republic of Gamers (ROG) is leveraging Hideo Kojima-level mythology for its hardware, unveiling the limited-edition ROG Flow Z13-KJP and a whole Ludens-branded ecosystem at CES 2026. This is not merely a superficial alteration. It is a comprehensive narrative exercise utilising aluminium, carbon fibre, and RGB.
The focal point is the Flow Z13-KJP, a 13.4-inch 2-in-1 "gaming tablet" powered by AMD's Ryzen AI Max+ 395 with Radeon 8060S graphics, including a unified 128GB memory architecture and a 2.5K Nebula HDR touchscreen operating at 180Hz. It is designed to transition seamlessly between console, creator rig, and ultraportable laptop while maintaining its silhouette.

The machine's appearance is reminiscent of both Death Stranding cargo and a field-issued development kit. Yoji Shinkawa transcended mere logo placement by designing angular CNC-milled cutouts, carbon-fiber infills, and warning-label text reminiscent of Kojima Productions' prop department. Shinkawa stated, “I aimed to design a device that is associated with Ludens, which I incorporated into this PC design.”
The partnership encompasses desk accessories featuring the white-and-gold ROG Delta II-KJP headset, Keris II Origin-KJP mouse, and Scabbard II XXL-KJP mat, each adorned with hand-drawn Ludens artwork and the playful slogan “For Ludens Who Dare.” It is a cohesive configuration that ultimately enables Kojima enthusiasts to construct a setup that genuinely resembles an entity from his universe.
