At MWC 2025, Samsung Display unveiled an innovative array of flexible and foldable OLED designs, advancing the frontiers of display technology. These developments encompass displays that fold into briefcases, extend to enlarge visuals, and convert into portable gaming consoles, demonstrating the possibilities of versatile screens in daily life.
A notable innovation is the Flexible Cabinbag, an 18.1-inch folding OLED display that collapses into a compact briefcase, ideal for mobile professionals. When expanded, it provides a high-resolution display comparable to two tablets, merging portability and efficiency inside a single apparatus.

Samsung introduced the Polygon Foldable, a 3.38-inch diamond-shaped OLED intended for clamshell-style foldable smartphones. Its atypical form presents novel opportunities for smartphone design and performance. A significant innovation is the Stretchable Display, which stretches laterally to dynamically modify graphics. At Samsung's MWC stand, a demonstration showcased an image of a football elongating as the display grew, suggesting promising implications for interactive media and gaming.
The launch of the Flex Gaming concept, a 7.2-inch folding OLED gaming console that transforms into a full-screen experience, was another primary emphasis in gaming. This device combines portability with superior images, providing enhanced convenience for gamers. Samsung presented a multi-screen concept monitor that facilitates smooth information sharing across many devices while maintaining uniform color and quality. This improves multi-device workflows, enabling users to switch between screens seamlessly.

Another notable breakthrough was OLED Tile, a bezel-less modular display system that produces the illusion of a continuous panel. Samsung showcased this by projecting an impressive image of Spain's Sagrada Familia Cathedral, utilizing a combination of ten 6.8-inch bezel-less panels and two 31.5-inch monitors to vividly animate the stained glass with exceptional clarity.
In the conceptual phase, Samsung's exhibition at MWC 2025 underscores the wide possibilities of foldable OLED technology. From professional instruments to recreational gadgets, these advancements suggest a future in which displays effortlessly adjust to various settings, providing enhanced versatility and ease.
