Samsung Innovates OLED Technology with Advanced Flexible Displays

At MWC 2025, Samsung Display unveiled an innovative array of flexible and foldable OLED designs, advancing the frontiers of display technology. A notable innovation is the Flexible Cabinbag, an 18.1-inch folding OLED display that collapses into a compact briefcase, ideal for mobile professionals. When expanded, it provides a high-resolution display comparable to two tablets, merging portability and efficiency inside a single apparatus.

Samsung introduced the Polygon Foldable, a 3.38-inch diamond-shaped OLED intended for clamshell-style foldable smartphones. At Samsung's MWC stand, a demonstration showcased an image of a football elongating as the display grew, suggesting promising implications for interactive media and gaming.

The launch of the Flex Gaming concept, a 7.2-inch folding OLED gaming console that transforms into a full-screen experience, was another primary emphasis in gaming.
