Samsung introduces the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7, with streamlined designs, enhanced cameras, and Galaxy AI functionalities.

Samsung has introduced its newest foldable smartphones – the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 – in conjunction with the Galaxy Watch8 Series at Galaxy Unpacked 2025. These releases signify a substantial progression in Samsung's foldable technology, integrating ultra-thin, lightweight designs with robust Galaxy AI capabilities.
The Galaxy Z Fold7, intended for those desiring portability and productivity, has a thickness of 8.9mm when folded and 4.2mm when unfurled. Weighing under 215 grams, it boasts a substantial 8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X primary display with Vision Booster for enhanced contrast and clarity. The 6.5-inch cover display features an expansive 21:9 aspect ratio, excellent for multitasking and multimedia creation. The Fold7, equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset, features Samsung's 200MP wide-angle camera, enhanced by the ProVisual Engine, Night Video, and 10-bit HDR for high-quality shooting and videography.

The Galaxy Z Flip7 provides a tiny option with high-end functionality in an elegant design. Weighing at 188 grams and measuring 13.7mm in thickness when folded, it is the most slender Flip model to date. Simultaneously, its 4.1-inch Super AMOLED FlexWindow – the largest on any Galaxy Z Flip phone – allows complete app functioning without the need to unfold the device. The 6.9-inch primary display offers a peak brightness of 2,600 nits and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Increased durability is provided by the Armor FlexHinge, Gorilla® Glass Victus® 2, and Armor Aluminum Frame. The enhanced 4,300mAh battery and AI-driven functionalities such as Real-Time Filters and Dual Preview enhance the user experience, while the dual-camera system produces crisp, vivid images.

The launch is completed with the Galaxy Watch8 Series, comprising the Galaxy Watch8, Watch8 Classic, and the enhanced Galaxy Watch Ultra. The watches use a restructured internal architecture and Dynamic Lug system for enhanced comfort and precision, driven by a 3nm CPU and operating on Wear OS 6 with One UI 8 Watch. The BioActive sensor presents novel measures such as Bedtime Guidance and Antioxidant Index, while the Galaxy Watch Ultra features 64GB of internal storage and a new Titanium Blue color.
