The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold will be released on January 30 through Samsung Experience Stores and the Samsung website, priced at $2,899 USD.

Samsung Electronics America has officially scheduled the debut of the eagerly awaited Galaxy Z TriFold for the U.S. market. The Z TriFold marks a substantial advancement in mobile engineering, transforming from a conventional smartphone into a 10-inch tablet, utilising the brand's most sophisticated multi-folding display technology to date.

With a minimum thickness of 3.9mm, the Galaxy Z TriFold is designed to deliver the capabilities of a "Ultra" tablet within a multifunctional, three-panel structure. The hardware is supported by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform, delivering the requisite processing power for the device's extensive integration of Galaxy AI. The AI-driven functionalities, such as Sketch to Image, Photo Assist, and Gemini Live, are tailored for the 10-inch canvas, enabling users to multitask across three separate screen segments or employ the entire display for an immersive creative experience.
Durability continues to be a primary emphasis for the new form factor. The Z TriFold incorporates a titanium hinge mechanism and a newly strengthened coating on the primary display to improve stress absorption. Comprehensive testing encompassed a 200,000-cycle multi-folding assessment to verify the flexible panel's durability during routine usage. The tablet, debuting in an elegant "Crafted Black" hue with 512GB of storage, represents Samsung's most audacious attempt to blur the lines between premium smartphones and portable computers.
