Maxell is honoring its heritage with the launch of the Maxell MXCP-P100 cassette tape player.



The cassette player emerges concurrently with the revival of vintage media formats, although enhanced with contemporary functionalities. Headphones include Bluetooth capabilities and provide a 3.5mm connector for wired audio playback. USB-C rechargeable batteries provide seven to nine hours of playback time.

The MXCP-P100 features modern elements, although its exterior evokes the technology of the 1980s. Prominently positioned on the player are substantial play, stop, fast forward, and rewind buttons, along with a brass flywheel for volume adjustment. Weighing merely 210 grams, the player also offers portability.
